The SoChi Gallery is an event venue in Macon, Georgia. We specialize in small to medium-sized events.
SoChi Gallery is a multi-level, loft-like event space located in Downtown Macon, Georgia. The venue layout encourages party-goers to move throughout the space as each area has a different view and vantage point. SoChi Gallery is tailored for events where social interaction is important. It's a social space by design. Guests move throughout the gallery resulting in a much more socially-interactive event. People simply have more fun here.
Once the home of Yellow Cab Company, the building was destroyed by fire and remained vacant and deteriorating for over a decade. After an extensive renovation, the building was re-purposed as an event venue and re-opened in 2008. The SoChi Gallery's interior, designed by owner Terrell Sandefur, Atlanta artist Joseph Guay and Macon architect, Gene Dunwody, reflects a hip, modern vibe while paying tribute to its historic Macon setting.
With soaring 23 foot ceilings and an open, multi-level floor plan, the gallery offers the choice to observe the event from a 2nd floor catwalk and loft space.
